Pieter is an experienced engineer and technologist focused on helping asset-intensive companies solve complex Digital Transformation challenges. He started his career as a plant engineer and has since accrued 10 years of engineering experience and over 20 years of IT experience. Pieter holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Information Technology.
He chairs the Industrial Internet Consortium Industrial Digital Transformation Task Group. In February 2019, Pieter received the IIC Technical Innovation Award for his vision, leadership and technical contribution to the industry.
