Founder and CEO of XMPRO

Pieter is the CEO of XMPRO, a company that designs, develops, and deploys innovative event-based Digital Twins and Event Intelligence applications. He is an active contributor to the Digital Twin Consortium and currently serves as a co-chair of the Natural Resources Working Group.

He previously served as the chair of the Digital Twin Interoperability, Industrial Digital Transformation, and Industrial Distributed Ledger Task Groups within the Industrial Internet Consortium. In 2019, Pieter was awarded the Industrial Internet Consortium Technical Innovation Award by his peers. He holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Information Technology.
