Residential areas in metropolitan cities regularly suffer flooding during long rain spells. The stormwater reservoirs are often near full when the rain starts as the services team work on a fixed route and not on the most urgent based on levels and weather forecasts.

XMPro is used to monitor the storm water reservoirs (sumps) continuously and combine level information with weather prediction information to create dynamic truck rolls. It also measures water quality to determine if there is any industrial runoff into stormwater systems (similar to tailings in mining scenarios)
